We are a fully vegan street food company!
We opened our first restaurant in Helsinki at Sanomatalo in May 2021.

Our idea is to make marvelous vegan street food without counting the calories. We want to say “bye-bye” to the way of thinking that vegan food is all beans and lettuce. It isn’t so!

We want to make vegan food easy to find, try and enjoy- veganism suits everyone! You don’t have to compromise anymore, just bring your friend here and everyone can find something that suits their taste. The wow effect; “I can’t believe this is vegan!”, is the one we are looking for.

But after all, it’s not all about the food. It’s about the climate, the food culture, and the changes that need to take place in our lives. Food brings us together and builds bridges, it should always be a safe space where you enjoy your food. We use safer space policy and you can see the queer communitys influence in the restaurant, every day! We want to be part of the progression, by making the right choices easier and more available for everyone. Saving the world hasn’t ever been this delicious!💚

We update our menu a few times a year, choosing the ingredients by seasonal specialties. But there are always some classics that stay on the menu, like the famous Junky Burger!

We hoast also Drag Brunches, stay tuned on our social media!

All our drinks are of course also vegan! We love to sell incredible products from small Finnish producers, like Liquid Kitchens lemonades and 8-Bit Brewings beers. Come and taste it all!

In Junk’y Vegan Sanomatalo we also have a big terrace where you can feel the Finnish summer magic and Helsinki’s unique vibe.
